yvonne

Yvonne Reay, Managing Director

Yvonne started her career in the NHS, before moving into journalism in 1990. Moving to the other side of the fence, Yvonne then joined one of the UK’s biggest providers of communications services to the public sector, Atlas Media Group.

In October 2007 Yvonne set up her own company, Act PR Ltd. Her award winning work has involved profile raising, media handling and high level crisis management, guiding clients through Panorama interviews, CQC reports and door stepping journalists.

With her excellent health, education and local government background, her team has already built up a growing portfolio of clients.

Anne Taylor

Anne Taylor, Associate Account Director

Anne started out her career as a journalist on the Telegraph and Argus and Wharfedale Observer newspapers, covering a range of reactive and human interest stories including the Bradford riots in 2001.

Anne moved from journalism into public relations and, like Yvonne, she worked for Yorkshire-based PR agency Atlas Media Group. Here Anne's clients included York Hospitals NHS Trust, Leeds Teaching Hospitals, Bradford District Care Trust and Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.

After honing her public relations skills Anne became the Communications Manager for the North Yorkshire Criminal Justice Board, which brought together the leading figures from North Yorkshire Police, Her Majesty's Courts Service, Her Majesty's Prison Service, the Crown Prosecution Service and the York and North Yorkshire Probation Service.

In 2009 Anne became a Director at See Green, a York based web development firm, where she continues to write content for websites as well as providing public relations services for clients.

Anne continues to support Act PR, both in providing press office support and writing for a range of publications including the Reserve Forces and Cadets Association for the North of England magazine.
